I love the food that this restaurant prepares and the staff are always so warm and welcoming when you come in for a sit down meal! Here comes the negative – I ordered a take-away from home and I went to pick it up, when I got there was not any staff to be seen in the reception area, I eventually went up stairs to the restaurant to find a member of staff and after about 5 minutes a waiter asked was I ok? I informed him I was there for a collection and he brought me my food. I was in disbelief when he rang the order into the till and it was over €36.00 for 2 take-away main course meals! I questioned him and he said ‘there was just 20% off on take-out orders compared to that of a sit down meal’, I couldn’t believe it! To me, this is Rip Off Central! I will never get another take-away again from here. It is such a pity because I love their food but I hate being ripped off!
Time to wise up folks- we’re in a recession!
