Weirs of Baggot St

Only came in here for some hardware supplies and left with everything I needed. The selection is okay but theres a better selection and better prices elsewhere. Its nice to browse around the whole store as they carry lots of other different items too. Their key cutting service is handy too but a little slow.

I can really only comment on their ability to make keys as I pretty much just made a bee-line for the back section on my half hour lunch break yesterday. They definitely were quick to make up 3 keys for me and they all actually worked properly!! (I've had poor luck with key cutters previously) so I was totally happy with that.

Weirs is handy if you need some homeware items in a hurry but it is really pricey. Would recommend hitting the bigger retail homeware stores for a better range of both products and prices. Staff are friendly though. Certainly still worth a look around.

Weirs is great for all your DIY needs has everything. Even if your not looking for anything in particular go in for a look always has something different to offer. They stock some really nice wooden toys. Not forgetting they have a key cutting service down the back. I have got some nice Christmas decorations over the years.

Weirs should have a big sign outside saying 'Any Crap You Want We Have It'. Honestly you could go in there ask for the most random object and they'll say they have it. Wellys for festivals, toys for kids, any garden tool you can think of they have it. Great. Whatever you need waste time looking just go to Weirs

They really do have all sorts of stuff in this shop - DIY, kitchen, wellies, you name it they have it

This place is great, you can find the most randomest things in here for you place. Bulbs, keys, baking appliances, cards, everything but the kitchen sink really! Its really conveniant if you work around the Baggot st area as you can just call in on your lunch break. Great to even just pop in for a browse, you'll be amazed with what you come out with!

This is one of my favourite shops. Part gift shop, hardware shop, toy shop, kitchen supplies shop, they pretty much sell everything here - and very cheaply. From candles to office supplies, crockery to wellington boots - no matter what it is, if it's to be found anywhere, it will be found in Weirs - it's an institution. It's the coolest place! Great for a wander and you'll usually pick up the most random but necessary items on a trip there. Honestly, it's retro cool at it's best, ya gotta lov... more
