very small pub with a very local atmosphere, price of a pint is cheap enough and the beer garden is great on a suuny day. there is always events on in this pub, live music etc, never a dull moment here.

Nice spot, quite old fashioned but it adds all the more character. Quiet place where you can just relax and have a chat with friend and even the locals. Decent smoking area out the back for some day drinking if the weather is right. Music was not the best leading to a bit of lull in the atmosphere but i suppose not really the place for banging out the choons.

The Villager is the place to be! Its a comfy atmosphere for all ages, and always has something going on! Weather its during the week, theres a big screen tv to watch, or sometimes even bands... and can't forget the Saturday night dance party!

Savage pub (definitely "pub", do not mistake for "bar";) in the centre of Chapelizod that oozes genuine character and toasted sandwiches!
The sessions on Wednesday nights are well worth catching on their own, they usually draw a good crowd

Really like this place. It's like a proper old mans pub. The drink is cheap and the locals are really nice. The bar staff are friendly too and they do take out. Nice smoking area. It's a good change of pace to all the city bars. Would defo recommend if you're in Chapelizod.

My favourite pub in Dublin, 3 miles from city centre. Trad band of local guys play for beer on a Wednesday night. Quite bohemian and always a good pint of the black stuff. 2 Big screens usually only on for big games and the 6 O'Clock news.

This is the quintessential local pub. A little bit dark and pokey. Booths around the walls. Plenty of old signs and clippings decorating the walls. Great stout - including Beamish if you're feeling like a taste of home. A nice little outside seating area too, for those rare sunny days. Perfect for a few casual mid-week pints, or a couple of quick ones before town.
