The Mermaid Café

I only ate here once but it was a great experience. We loved the wide selection of food on the menu (though I wish there were a few more veggie options) The food was delicious though. Service was great, the staff were so friendly and went out of their way to make sure our evening at their restaurant was perfect.

This is a fantastic restaurant.The service is top class and the atmosphere is really good. The choice on the menu is great ,and is very good value.Would definitely go back again.

I ate here a 3 of times in the last few months. Both times with visitors from abroad. The first time was with family and friends so we had a group of ten. The food was excellent and even my sister, a personal chef, was impressed. I had taken them all there as it had been a highlight for me on my birthday 10 years earlier and I had never forgotten the restaurant. Ate her once on someone else's expense, which is always going to instantly warm me to a place! But considering I ate there nearly 2 years ago and can still remember what I got says something else!! The place has a really nice informal feel with an open kitchen adding to the experience.
