Wow, I really love this place. As has been said before, the staff go out of their way to make you feel special and the surroundings make you feel like you are a millionaire. The food is jaw droppingly delicious.

Excellent food, atmosphere, beer and staff.

They can't do enough for you in here - I absolutely recommend a cocktail here as the barman will ask you what sort of flavours you like before whipping you up something truly unusual.

The food is great and reliable with a great seasonal and Irish influence.

Considering how new it is to the Dublin gastropub scene, it's doing really well - they won an InDublin award just the other week.

The Exchequer was a bit of a surprise though because it has a nice relaxed vibe, not at all what I'd expected. We only stayed for a pint because we had a movie to catch, and this is probably not the best place for a pint but rather cocktails anyways, but I know I will be back to try their food some time soon, because the chocolate platter looks delicious and I will keep you updated.

The Exchequer is has a lot going for it, whether you're looking for somewhere to eat or a night out (late bar). The food is great, I'd defintiely recommend it for brunch. They also do decent cocktails. Great music!! It gets pretty packed at the weekends as word has spread and it's not that big so doesn't take much to fill it. It's trendy without being pretentious. The only downside is that I've found the bar service to be a little slow at times.

I was in here last week for a party and I really enjoyed it. The guys here seem very accomodating setting up a separate area and bar for the party, also allowing our own DJ to set up in the corner. It's not a large bar at the front but there is more seated and eating places further down the bar. Very central location and would happily go back again, especially to test out the food next time!

I've been there yesterday with some fellas from Brazil, actually we were having a party there.
Very nice place to party, or even if you just wanna a happy hour, this is a great place to go.

Exchequer is the perfect place for parties. A little bit smaller I know, but there's two confortable different rooms. Dance room and another room is like a VIP room. If you want to dance or simply talk about your friends this is the place.

I've been there a few with friends, and it was always great! Really good music with Dj Marina, a good environment, clean and tidy, with older people (by that I mean over 25, not the teens that you normally see at temple bar, trying to sneak into the pubs and night clubs...). Free admission, with (as far as I could see) no restrictions on clothes wich is a plus for people that don't like to use shoes or dress up just because some places restrict the entrance...Recommended!

Eat meet drink - the tagline says it all really!
Simple, comfortable, reliable and with a great atmosphere too, which is something special to boast about. Whether popping in for a coffee out of the rain, or sitting over a few drinks and bite to eat with friends, your guaranteed a warm smile and good service.
Fab location, even better decor - am looking forward to trying it on a Saturday night as I hear great things!
