Tesco

Tesco.. you know what to expect going in here. Its like all of the other Tesco's and they carry everything you need and lots of tempting things that you don't need. Theres better Tesco stores around the city but theres nothing awful about this place, they just didn't stock everything I wanted.Their own brand Tesco pizza is yummy though and less than a euro so you can't go wrong! It was busy enough but the queue's weren't too bad and staff were quick at helping everyone.

Nice Tesco on Baggot street. Only used it for small random items on passing but always had what I needed. Handy for this purpose also has an ATM machine. Staff were also always quick at checkouts.

A tesco is a tesco. They are everywhere and they are convenient, but I hate going in there. Nonetheless, I was in here less than an hour ago picking up some last minute ingredients for tonights dinner, and they had what I needed.

Is Tesco the Irish version of Walmart, standing on the throats of producers, local shop owners and family businesses, single-mindedly taking all custom from everywhere? Who cares when prices are this low.

I'm one of these people that gives out about Tesco opening on every corner, taking busines from the 'little man', pushing other small shops out of business etc etc, and then what do I do, go and shop in Tesco cos it's so handy and cheaper than the rest! It's a shame but thats the truth. This one is no different, right across the road from my place of work, a good size shop, with a little of everything. God I want to smack meself for writing this. Not a bad tesco because it's handy for me as I work beside it, but I wouldn't be doing my main shopping here - they don't have much of the nice cheap tesco own brand stuff if that's what you're after. They do have a bit of everything in there in fairness though - even a decent size drink section.
