Chapter One Restaurant

This is a fab place to go for dinner.They have one of the coveted Michelin stars which should speak for itself. The cooking has a very French undertone.The atmosphere is warm and friendly while the staff go out of their way to make sure you enjoy your meal.

this is a perfect dining experience at a Michelin star restaurant....from food to service to style it has it all.

Well, it would have been if it were not for these words explaining the review and pointing out that it was the shortest review.. which is isn’t now... well, it still can be if you just don’t read this bit...

This is the best restaurant that I've had the pleasure of eating in. The welcome, the decor, the ambience, the service are excellent but the food is just superb. Normally I wouldn't eat here as I don't live in Dublin but I was treated to lunch and was blown away.

Enjoyed one of my favourite dinners in Chapter One. The service impeccable, you are made feel like the most important person in the world. I even got a tour of the kitchen and the Jameson Room where I was told that a gentleman recently booked it out, filled it with roses to propose to his girlfriend-she said no!! The food is sublime and so reasonable, such a fantastic experience.

Wonderful for a special occasion and a great welcome from the maitre d. Expensive but you get your moneys worth. Make sure to book well in advance. Their irish coffees are a speciality. The pre theatre is also good. Enjoy

We are kinda lucky in Dublin - we have some spectacularly good restaurants but none more so than Chapter One.

I'm not all that well off so I can t afford to go here too often but when we do we get the pre theatre menu - an early bird menu by another name. great value and you get to taste the truly superb food.

The presentation ,the execution,the taste of this food is sublime.I had oysters presented on a huge mound of ice,steak cooked to perfection and a sublime lemon tart,Absolute joy!!Staff are consummate professionals too,They deserve all the accolades they get!!

Probably the best restaurant you will find anywhere. It certainly is a very special place that is consistently excellent over many years. The tasting place is spectacular if you have not tried it. It is one of my favourite restaurants and its pretty much the only one in the North Central City the everyone jumps with glee when they hear its Chapter One. The wine list is amazing, so just ask what wine goes best with what. The selection will not cost you much more than any nice bottle of wine... more

Best restaurant Northside Dublin City Centre. We went here for a meal before a play in the Gate which is just up the street. We had a pre-theatre special, it was about €35 each. Normally this place would be way over my budget so I don't go there as often as I would like to. The service here is second to none (same waiting staff for years and years) The food was great. Deserts perhaps abit too rich for my tastes but for some this is not a complaint.
