One of my favourite galway bars there is always a good atmosphere in the Blue note. The crowd is friendly and so are the bar staff. They pull a nice pint of Guinness and have a covered smoking area which is nice, esp if ya get a seat

One of the better pubs in galway city. Nice selection of beers on tap, decent music at weekend, and friendly staff. For smokers it has a brilliant smoking area, fully covered with plenty of seats, feels like you are in the pub, completed with heaters that you can put on yourself.

very nice atmosphere indoors ..the staff are very nice they have live music and they charge a small amount for the drinks..there are always people in here and i go here sometimes aswel with a friend

Great bar on William Street, near the Spanish Arch - Very relaxed atmosphere, great covered smoking area that is like being inside a pub! Has a good range of international beers on tap, and often has good live music and djs

Best pub in Galway. Worked here for a while and had a ball. Cool regulars and a great laugh. Super relaxed and great music.

Relaxed laidback vibe, super smoking area, usually has great dj's and music. Great at weekends and summer, can have a good dance on the very small dancefloor, and a relaxing pint beside fire earlier on
