Truvo is the place to tell us what you love and why we should love it too. Tasty restaurant. Nice cafe. Great doctor. Fun shop. Cheap thrill. Then share your experience. And people will follow.
This is actually gone now and it is called El Instituto Cervantes, it's located now beside the Dental College at Trinity. This is where I took my classes for 2 years to learn Spanish. The courses are very serious and intense but it really works! They also have other cultural activities going on everyweek from free exhibitions open to the public to film screenings. Their new building has a cafe with a great buzz. The only downside to Cervantes is the cost of the courses, they are very expensive.
I did a French course here a good few years ago and was mighty impressed! They made me go through a humilating initial assessment exam where i couldnt remember the word for "job", but still they thought I should be put into the intermediate class! They also have a great canteen too which yummy stuff and anyone can walk in and eat there!
Very good courses offered here from millinery to dress design.Alot of famous Irish designers went here for example Paul Costelloe. The summer courses offered are very good too and are a good way to get an introduction to dress design.
